I have produced for YCN Student Competition 2014 the flat desktop calendar, which reflects the modern aesthetic of the FEDRIGONI calendar and at the same time reveals the natural features of the Woodstock range of the papers.I produced a clear straightforward division for weeks and months on the examples of colours from the range of Woodstock papers (the range of Eco-Craft and Paper-box similar colours and weights to original FEDRIGONI papers also printed adequate colours). Choosing not to label the days of week, the structure of the calendar was simplified by creating dividing lines beneath each numbered date. The calendar was bound with a three-part paper hinge. The characteristic of the “LANDSCAPE” concept is based on a combination of rectangular shapes of colourful pages representing each month, but with a torn top edge, which creates an abstract landscape once grouped together. The combination of expressive shapes creates a unique natural character, which reflects a recycled and reused philosophy of the wood stock range. The FEDRIGONI papers displayed are colourful, vibrant and feature each month in different weights.

I spent a lot of time working on this project, but I had decided to develope to the final stage "Landscape" idea.
